"I would advise a beautiful expression of a Chilean sauvignon from the Leyda Valley, at the Ventolera winery, 12 km from the pacific ocean, at the San Juan area. Winds and thermal amplitude favour a slow maturity of the grapes. This Ventolera Sauvignon Blanc 2013 from Stefano Gandolini, of whom I talked in the July issue, is one of the best cuvée I have had the opportunity to taste in this country because she has nothing of varietal expression.
